Consultation Requirement

A 20-minute consultation is mandatory prior to any treatment being booked. This ensures that all services are tailored safely and appropriately to your individual needs.

Please note, all therapists are not medical doctors and do not provide medical advice. Any health concerns should be discussed with a qualified medical professional.

At Serenique Spa, we provide a calm, professional, and respectful service where your wellbeing, safety, and comfort are our priority. Our approach is rooted in care, compassion, and restoration creating a peaceful environment where each individual can rest, reset, and feel renewed.

Bookings, Deposits & Rescheduling

A non-refundable deposit of £20 is required to secure all bookings and will be deducted from your final balance.

Deposits are non-refundable. However, if you reschedule your appointment within 14 days using the booking link provided, your deposit will be transferred to your new appointment. Transferred deposits remain valid for up to 2 months from the original booking date.

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will be charged in full.

After a second late cancellation, all future bookings must be paid in full in advance. These payments are non-refundable.

If the therapist arrives and the appointment cannot proceed for any reason, full payment will be required. No further bookings will be accepted until any outstanding balance is cleared.

These terms apply to all bookings, including gift vouchers, prepaid sessions, and treatment packages.

Client Care – Before & After Treatment

Clients are kindly asked to shower before treatments where possible to maintain hygiene and enhance results.

Massage oils are used during treatments and may leave the skin slightly oily. As this is a mobile service, shower facilities may not always be available. Allowing time before washing will support full absorption and maximise the benefits of your treatment.

Each session is carried out with gentleness, respect, and awareness, creating space for both physical ease and inner calm.

Age & Consent

All clients must provide informed consent before treatment.

Treatments are available for clients aged 18 and over. Clients aged 13 to 17 may receive treatments only with prior consent and with a parent or guardian present at all times.

Safeguarding

We uphold strong safeguarding practices to ensure a safe, respectful, and protected environment for all.

• All adult clients must provide informed consent
• Under 18s require a signed parental or guardian consent form
• A parent or guardian must remain present throughout the session

Male Client Policy

Male clients are welcome and are treated with professionalism, discretion, and respect.

To ensure comfort, safety, and privacy at all times, a female must be present in the home during the appointment. Where this is not possible, a chaperone can be arranged at an additional cost of £30.

Clients are encouraged to share any preferences or concerns in advance so the experience can be delivered safely and respectfully.

Health & Safety

We maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety at all times.

• All equipment and treatment areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before and after each session
• Strict hand hygiene protocols are followed, and PPE is used where required
• Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions or concerns prior to treatment
• Treatments may be adapted or declined where necessary to ensure safety
• Emergency procedures and first aid measures are in place
• All therapists are trained in health and safety practices

Data Protection (GDPR)

Your personal data is handled securely and in line with GDPR requirements.

We collect only the information necessary to provide safe and effective services. Your data is stored securely and is not shared without your consent unless legally required. You have the right to access, amend, or request deletion of your data at any time. Data is retained only as long as necessary to meet legal and service requirements.
